Vintage Vietnam Camo Embroidered Heaven Military Tour Jacket 1968-69 Thrashed

Description

Vintage Vietnam Camo Embroidered Military Jacket. From a tour of Cu Chi in 1968/69. Everything appears embroidered by hand. Has embroidery of a tiger on the front, along with US and South Vietnam flags with the title “Happiness”. I can’t quite make out the embroidery on the sleeves. The back has a map and a title that gave me goosebumps the first time I read it.
The jacket, being 50+ years old, is heavily worn. Here are the defects:
- Right sleeve is mostly torn off on both the jacket and inner lining (shown)
- Zipper zips all the way up, but detaches from the jacket about half way up (shown)
- Some of the embroidery is torn
- The right pocket is torn open on the inside (shown)
- Some of the inner lining is torn
- Jacket is dirty inside and out, I will not be cleaning it
Measures 28” long and 24” wide. Truly an excellent historical piece. Maybe you can bring it back to its original glory!
