    Description

    This is a set of 23rd Fighter Squadron memorabilia that I purchased together recently at an estate sale of a gentleman who served in the air force in the late 1950s in Germany. This set includes a tie, as well as what looks like an armband (it has one side of a strap) which has a bullion wire patch in the center, and has a  label on the back has the date December 1956.
    The armband with the bullion patch measures 5.25 x 4.5 inches, with the patch in the center being 3 x 2 inches.
