US 5th Army SSI Shoulder Sleeve Insignia Patch Cut Edge Vietnam

Description

There is a somewhat subdued glow to the white areas A 5 so I am estimating Vietnam era, although the patch design seems to be older so it could be before this at the very advent of brightened fabrics.
There is a tan cut edge all around the patch from what I believe to be the original uniform.
