This patch matches the one that is represented in the book about it. If you compare it, it has the eyes under the mushroom. There are a lot of patches out there. My research on this one indicates that it's very rare. I couldn't get exact clarification on history, I just know that the markings on the patch match the story of the patch. Anyone who can offer some information on it. I bought it at the Goodwill Outlet. It was an old wood. box that I pulled out that was full of old military items. Patches, pins and bars. I'm just starting to go through it. There are a lot of items. This one stood out so I started researching it first.
It's an incredible find that belongs in the right hands. This patch is the reason why I do what I do. This is a treasure.
