Quaker Silver Company dish/saucer  with applied cast decoration.
Cast Art Deco style leaves and beading applied to border.
Exceedingly rare.
Approximately 4 3/4 inches in diameter.
Approximately 3 ounces in weight (approximately 2.73 troy ounces).
Quaker Silver Company hallmark of shield with Q inside, a crown to the right and another shield further to the right.
Also stamped with pattern/Item number 9524.
Inspired by
Scandinavian
silver designs including those produced by Jensen.
References in numerous auction catalogues imply that this pattern was made in the early post-war period.
Hallmark present on piece used from the 1920's through the 1950's.
Possibly intended as a saucer.
