    You are bidding on an English commemorative dish for Hoare's Bank's 300th anniversary (1672-1972), the second oldest bank in the UK and apparently the fifth oldest in the world.  This dish is 3-5/8" in diameter and has a double-eagle insignia in the center, which is Hoare's insignia. It has English Britannia silver hallmarks and date mark for 1971.  This is Britannia standard silver, more pure than sterling silver, which is .925 purity. Britannia is .9584 pure.
