Very nice Gorham sterling silver covered vegetable dish. The dish is in nice condition minus a couple small dings and scratched. This style of vegetable dish featured a removable handle. That handle was not replaced before the dish was packed away. As such it is not present in this sale. I have seen a silver plated dish available on eBay that has a handle that would almost certainly fit this dish. It’s available for about shipped. I think it would make a nice replacement. These Gorham covered dishes are quite rare and this is a nice example. It weighs in at an ample 540g. As of the day of listing that is 1.15 in melt value alone. There is a small M.L. monogram on one side. The bottom is 6.5”x9.5” the lid is 6”x9”. I will ship this dish via USPS Priority Mail, ASAP! Thanks
