Carl Poul Petersen (Canadian Silversmith) Sterling Silver Pedestal Comport
A gorgeous sterling silver pedestal comport by the Canadian silversmith designer, Carl Poul Petersen (son in law of George Jensen). The pedestal comport has a pedestal base and a scalloped rim with a pierced design.
It is signed "Petersen's Sterling" and shows the maker's marks on the underside of the pedestal.
It measures 8 1 2/ inches in diameter and stands 1 1/4 inches tall.
It is in very good condition.
