  • Condition: In good gently used condition with minor scuffs/scratches and one small hole on the edge of the dish from the creation of the chased design (see last two photos of set for image of this). Marked on outer bottom edge of base with makers mark for "DAC". This piece was designed to be unbolted to make cleaning/polishing this piece easer a design trait you see in all fine silver. The footed dish is heavily decorated with deep relief chased asian designs of abstracted floral flourishes, dragon like creatures and grotesque masks. Measurements 9.7/8" wide across top of plate x 2.3/4" high x 4.5/16" across bottom of foot. Weight 1 pound 7.9 ounces . I have a couple other pieces on the internet with the same makers mark of DAC and those had similar chased designs . Those pieces were deemed to be 800/1000. fineness so this might be as well it certainly looks like sterling to me but it doesn't have a purity mark on it. Please view all photos with care.
