    Description

    A scarce and special Victorian nut dish in sterling silver. It is a beautiful work of repousse and pierced ribbons bows and flowers in a heart shape. with 3 little ball shaped feet -a master silversmith's work. It is hallmarked sterling silver for Chester, England in 1895 with the initials of John and William Deakin who were part of the James Deakin & Sons silversmiths group. James Deakin started business in 1865 in Sheffield, England and by 1888 this well known company had silversmiths works in London and Chester, England, Glasgow, Scotland and Belfast, Ireland.
    The condition is perfect and clean.
    The size is 3" in length, 3" wide and 3/4" in depth. It weighs 17 grams.
