    AMERICAN STERLING SILVER REPOUSSE BUTTER DISH & INSERT
    MADE BY JENKINS & JENKINS 1912
    Pleased to offer this wonderful Baltimore sterling silver repousse butter dish and insert.  Of circular shape, the deep dish bowl displays a wide band of repousse of flora and fauna.  Owners initials engraved on bottom of interior.  There is a stepped sloped interior rim to hold the sterling pierced insert in place.  The insert displays a cut out of heart shaped pierced work with a center hole for finger pull.
    The butter dish measure 7 inches across and stands 2 inches tall.  The set weighs 290 grams (9oz)
    Clearly stamped on the base with a makers mark of a building for Jenkins & Jenkins Inc. Makers, Sterling 925/1000.  Engraved in script June 5th 1912.
