    Lot of 6 Art Nouveau c1910 Hallmarked Gorham Durgin Sterling Silver Grape Leaf Salt/Mint Dish Place Holders, Water Lily pattern, excellent condition as pictured, no monogram, no dents, no scratches. Each dish has a small clip underneath the scroll handle for a place card.
    The William B. Durgin Silver Company was founded in Concord, NH in 1853. This company was acquired by the Gorham Company in 1905. The “D” in an oval is a early Durgin Hallmark, later the “D” appeared in a shield.
    Gorham continued to use this hallmark until the Durgin factory closed in 1931.
